Hi David, just discovered your substack :) I am compiling a visual guide of "random acts of anachronism" to go along with this post https://schooloftheunconformed.substack.com/p/simple-acts-of-sanity-a-seed-catalogue, and wondered if I could add the image of your typewritten page here (with attribution). Let me know what you think :)

My wife's phone was on the fritz and we couldn't get a Genius Bar appointment for over day. So, I gave her my phone and headed out into the world for the day. It was honestly the best day in a long time.

I can't imagine leaving it behind long term, so maybe a Light Phone 2 is in order? Have you seen one of those?

I think more people should leave their phones at home intentionally.

Leaving your phone at home used to just be called "leaving your house." Younger people don't remember a time when we didn't take our phones/TV/music/mail with us everywhere we went. We just hung up our phones or shut off our TVs and left the house. Imagine!
